Board Development Committee Meeting Minutes

The Board Development Committee addressed several issues, including officer transition issues and new position descriptions for board officers, selecting a student member of the board, the process for filling vacancies on the board, and other matters. Scholarship Committee Awards Over $31,000

Scholarship committee awards over $31,000 in student scholarships for the 2010 Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp

The Sugarloaf Foundation scholarship committee met on March 22 to award about $23,000 in scholarships to 130 students registered to attend the 2010 camp sessions. In addition, about $7,500 in merit scholarships will also be awarded this year. No student that requested financial support was turned away. With anticipated late entries, the total awards for the 50th Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camps will exceed $31,000.
This is what our foundation is all about: promoting fine arts for youth and ensuring no student will be denied the opportunity to attend Sugarloaf due to financial circumstances.
