The Sugarloaf Station Foundation provides partial tuition assistance for the Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp.

The Foundation works with the El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) but administers the assistance program independently.  Previous scholarship awards can be seen here.

The information provided with the tuition assistance application will be kept completely confidential. It will only be reviewed by the members of the Scholarship Committee of the Sugarloaf Foundation.

Campers are invited to apply for Tuition Assistance. Tuition Assistance applicants are still expected to pay the $100.00 deposit to EDCOE when submitting their separate applications to attend Sugarloaf camp. You may apply for tuition assistance as soon as you are notified that you have received a camper slot at camp.

Tuition Assistance is provided to campers who would be unable to attend camp without some financial aid. Tuition assistance amounts are requested at the discretion of the camper’s family and will range from $125 – $400 per camper for 2024.

The Tuition assistance deadline application is April 5th, 2024.

If your economic situation has changed recently, please consider submitting a request for partial tuition assistance to offset the costs for your camper to attend Sugarloaf 2024.

Tuition Assistance applications postmarked after April 5, 2024 may not be funded. Late applications will only be considered if assistance funds remain after all timely applications have been reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and funded. You should apply as soon as you receive a camper slot at camp.

Campers awarded tuition assistance should be notified no later than April 12th, 2024 and the funds will be applied toward any remaining balance of your tuition. You will still need to make your final payment to EDCOE no later than May 3rd, 2024 or your place at camp cannot be guaranteed. No bill or statement will be sent to you by the Foundation or EDCOE. The tuition assistance is not transferable and cannot be used for future years. Applying for tuition assistance does not guarantee or have any effect on admission to camp.
